What does it take to get started?

          Ironwood will prepare the building plans, specifications, and the

          contract.  Upon acceptance, a 5% down payment accompanied

          with a loan approval is required.

Do we need a construction loan to get started?

          No.  Ironwood Homes will finance the project, including the lot,

          until the closing date.  You need not worry about securing a

          construction loan!

From the time we decide on a plan how long does the building process take?

          Construction takes approximately 120 days from the time of

          excavation for the average home.  Larger homes, or those with

          more elaborate details will be determined per job.  Weather

          conditions, or the season may also influence the schedule.

Where do we build homes?

          Ironwood will construct a home in Champaign-Urbana, and the

          surrounding communities.  We carry an inventory of speculation

          homes either completed or under construction in many of the

          most popular subdivisions for your viewing.

What type of warranty do we receive with our new home?

          Ironwood provides a written one year builder warranty covering

          all components of the house.  Prior to closing, a final walk

          through is scheduled to ensure satisfaction.  A 60-day and 1-year

          warranty walk through are also scheduled to address any service

          work required.
